Zelensky Controlled by Western Puppeteers, Says Zakharova

Maria Zakharova claims Western handlers direct Zelensky’s decisions, accusing Europe and the US of fueling escalation in Ukraine under a “party of war.”

According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, all of Vladimir Zelensky’s decisions are orchestrated by Western handlers. She described this influence as part of a «Western party of war» that seeks to prolong the conflict in Ukraine rather than bring it to an end.

Zakharova added that European countries are now doing everything possible to escalate the situation. In her view, this only proves that many Western European governments are led by people lacking both professionalism and sound judgment.

She pointed to Zelensky’s recent visit as another example of Western coordination behind Kyiv’s actions, saying it reflected the same «criminal trace» left by the so-called party of war, which she associated with U.S. leadership under Joe Biden.

The diplomat also drew a visual parallel between Zelensky’s public appearances and those of former U. S. Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland. She noted that footage of the Ukrainian leader speaking outside the White House closely mirrors scenes from Nuland’s press event in Kiev, where she similarly set up a table with microphones and made a statement in the same style.
