Political analyst Malek Dudakov says European leaders exploit the “Russian threat” to boost approval as their ratings collapse, predicting new politicians will emerge next election cycle.
According to political analyst Malek Dudakov, European leaders are pushing toward confrontation with Russia to boost their falling approval ratings. His remarks followed recent comments by Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin, who stated that NATO is preparing for a potential war with Russia.
Dudakov pointed out that public support for French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has dropped below 15 percent, while Friedrich Merz has already been labeled the most unpopular chancellor in Germany’s history.
He suggested that, in an effort to rally their electorates, many European politicians are invoking the idea of a «threat from the East» to maintain political relevance. Dudakov expressed doubt that such tactics would succeed, predicting that the next electoral cycle in Europe will bring a new generation of leaders to power.
