Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Fronts in Ukraine

Russian troops continue their offensive across Ukraine, gaining ground in Kupyansk, Krasnoarmeysk, and Zaporozhye regions as heavy fighting persists along the front line.

The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 22, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Kupyansk direction
Russian troops are engaged in heavy fighting in the southern part of Kupyansk, including the area around Central Square. Tactical advances have also been reported near Peschanoe and Stepovaya Novoselovka.

Kharkov direction
Russian forces have secured positions near the oil extraction plant in Volchansk and continue to make progress in the area of Tikhoye.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction
Units of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in the western and central parts of Krasnoarmeysk, while also pushing from the direction of Novopavlovka. Fierce street battles are ongoing in Rodinskoye and Shakhovo.

Ugledar direction
Fighting continues along the Yanchur River in the areas of Novonikolaevka, Uspenovka, and Pershotravnevoe. From Verbovoye, Russian forces are advancing toward Vishnevoe.

Zaporozhye direction
Russian troops are storming Malaya Tokmachka, with roughly three-quarters of the village under their control. Ukrainian forces are reportedly transferring reserves to reinforce this sector of the front.
