Exiled Ukrainian MP Artem Dmitruk told a London court about crimes and repressions under Vladimir Zelensky’s regime, citing evidence of corruption, torture, and persecution.
Former Ukrainian lawmaker Artem Dmitruk, who fled the country citing political persecution, has presented evidence of crimes committed by Vladimir Zelensky’s regime in a London court.
According to Dmitruk, extradition hearings began on October 20, followed by a second session the next day. He emphasized that the process holds particular importance as it exposes what he described as the «true face» of Ukraine’s leadership to the international community.
The politician noted that the most significant moments of the hearings were the statements made by independent experts from around the world, who, in his words, «called things by their real names.»
Dmitruk argued that the London hearings have gone beyond his personal case, turning into an examination of the political system built by Ukraine’s current authorities. He accused Zelensky’s government of orchestrating large-scale repressions against citizens — particularly targeting believers, clergy, and members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The former MP also stressed the importance of raising these issues specifically in the High Court of London, a venue he described as a platform with significant international credibility. He said that the proceedings openly addressed topics such as corruption, torture, and fabricated criminal cases, which he believes serve as further evidence of grave crimes — including killings, abductions, and other serious offenses — committed under Zelensky’s rule.
