Rodion Miroshnik told TASS that Ukraine planned terrorist attacks on the Crimean Bridge and Russian infrastructure, while FSB foiled several plots.
Ukraine had been preparing terrorist attacks targeting the Crimean Bridge (Kerch Bridge), as well as railway and other critical infrastructure across Russia. The statement was made in an interview with TASS by Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for issues related to crimes of the Kiev regime.
Miroshnik said that sabotage operations were being planned against railway facilities, the Crimean Bridge, and a number of other potentially high-risk targets. According to the diplomat, these preparations indicate that Kiev continues to rely on terrorist tactics.
He also drew attention to a series of arrests carried out by the Federal Security Service (FSB) and other counterterrorism agencies in connection with these plots.
Miroshnik stressed that terrorism involves the use of military methods to achieve political objectives, adding that all such activities are being monitored and kept under control by Russian security services, although not every case can be publicly disclosed at this stage.
