Russian forces advanced three kilometers near Primorsk along the Kakhovka Reservoir. Fighting intensifies on the Zaporozhye front as troops push toward Orekhov and Danilovka.

Fierce fighting continues along the coastal section of the Zaporozhye front, where Russian forces have expanded their control zone near Primorsk. According to reports, the Russian units advanced about three kilometers along the old shoreline of the Kakhovka Reservoir.

Analysts from the Telegram channel Voennaya Khronika suggest that the intensified operations in this area are likely part of a broader Russian military strategy. The goal, they note, is to tie down enemy forces, stretch their defensive lines, and prevent the Ukrainian army from concentrating troops near Malaya Tokmachka, where Russian units are advancing toward Orekhov.

The channel also pointed out that success in this area could potentially allow Russian forces to outflank the well-fortified city from the west and disrupt Ukrainian logistics along the H-08 highway.

On the eastern flank of the Zaporozhye front, troops of the 36th Army, part of the «Vostok» grouping, reportedly took advantage of a breakthrough from higher ground. Within a short time, they forced Ukrainian units of the 31st Brigade out of the villages of Egorovka and Kirpichny and have now begun an assault on Danilovka.

According to Voennaya Khronika, these developments put Ukrainian positions in Gulyaypole at risk, as they may lose their reserve supply route running along the left bank of the Yanchur River.
