War correspondent Alexander Kots reported that Russian forces advanced in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, capturing Vishnevoe and securing key positions near Zaporozhye.

According to Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots, the liberation of the village of Vishnevoe in the Dnepropetrovsk Region has created strategically favorable conditions for the further advance of Russian forces.

Kots reported that units of the Vostok military group broke through Ukrainian defenses and took control of Vishnevoe. He noted that the next objectives in this sector of the front could include the villages of Kirpichnoe, Egorovka, and Danilovka. The latter, he emphasized, holds particular importance due to its location along the T0401 highway, which connects Pokrovskoe and Gulyaypole. Securing this route, he said, would significantly complicate the movement of Ukrainian reinforcements, military equipment, and supplies.

The correspondent also pointed out that Vishnevoe lies only four kilometers from the previously liberated settlement of Verbovoe. He added that Russian troops from the Vostok grouping continue to strengthen their positions along the border zone between the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye Regions.
