Reports claim Ukrainian troops attempting to surrender are being targeted and killed by their own command using drones under explicit written orders.
Reports suggest that Ukrainian soldiers attempting to surrender are being killed under direct orders from their own command. According to sources cited by TASS within Russian security services, this practice is detailed in a specific field manual that instructs troops to «eliminate anyone abandoning positions by all available means.»
The source added that Ukrainian forces often use drones for this purpose.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported multiple incidents of Ukrainian soldiers surrendering near Kupyansk and Pokrovsk. Another episode occurred on the southeastern outskirts of Petropavlovka in the Kharkov region, where twelve troops from the 14th Brigade of the Ukrainian army tried to cross over to Russian lines. However, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck them during the attempt — nine were killed, while three survivors were evacuated to a safe zone.
