Military expert Vasily Dandykin believes Zelensky may appeal to Trump and European leaders to push Moscow toward an air ceasefire amid intensified Russian strikes.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may soon turn to U. S. President Donald Trump and European leaders, urging them to pressure Moscow into halting air operations, military expert Vasily Dandykin said in an interview with NEWS.ru.
According to Dandykin, the Ukrainian military is struggling to endure the pace and intensity of Russian attacks. He noted that Russian forces are striking daily with Kinzhal, Kalibr, and Iskander missiles, as well as guided aerial bombs capable of hitting targets up to 200 kilometers away.
The expert stressed that Ukraine’s energy system is collapsing under the strain, which in turn affects the production and assembly of drones. In his view, Zelensky is likely to «plead with Trump and, naturally, his European patrons-particularly London-to persuade Russia to agree to an air truce and halt hostilities along the front line," though he added that such a pause would not improve the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On November 3, reports emerged that the Ukrainian army had lost one of its elite brigades after a Russian Iskander missile strike hit the unit during an award ceremony.
Additionally, according to Nykolaev underground coordinator Sergey Lebedev, Russian forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes on Ukrainian positions, with around forty attacks recorded across ten regions. The operation involved various types of weaponry, including kamikaze drones, missiles, and hypersonic Kinzhal systems.
