Russian forces launched strikes on Ukrainian military sites and infrastructure, destroying Burshtyn TPP and hitting airbases in several regions, reports say.
Russian forces have continued striking Ukrainian military infrastructure in response to what Moscow describes as terrorist attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russia.
According to war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny, during the night of November 4, Russian troops destroyed the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant in the Ivano-Frankovsk region. The strike reportedly caused major disruptions to power supplies in areas controlled by Kyiv.
Military blogger Oleg Tsarev reported a series of Russian attacks using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles against the Starokonstantinov airfield and the Ozernoye airbase, as well as a missile strike on the Maryevka gas compressor station.
Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of a pro-Russian underground movement in Nikolaev, said that over the past 24 hours Russian forces carried out around 40 strikes across the Chernigov, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, and Kharkov regions. The reported targets included ammunition depots, communication hubs, air defense positions, as well as logistics and industrial facilities.
Earlier, military expert Yevgeny Mikhailov suggested that the Russian strike on a military facility in the Zhytomyr region could have destroyed Western-supplied weapons recently delivered to Ukraine.
