Russian Forces Strike Oil Refinery Supplying Ukrainian Army

Russia’s Defense Ministry reports strikes on an oil refinery fueling Ukrainian troops in Donbas, as well as attacks on arms depots, drone plants, and troop positions.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that its forces carried out a strike on an oil refinery supplying fuel to Ukrainian army units operating in Donbas. The ministry stated that the attack achieved its objectives and that all designated targets were destroyed.
According to the statement, the strike took place overnight on August 19 and involved long-range precision weapons as well as attack drones.
The ministry added that Russian forces also targeted missile and artillery stockpiles, long-range drone assembly facilities, and temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian troops and foreign fighters across 142 locations.
Earlier, military correspondent Andrey Rudenko reported that Russian forces had launched a combined strike on the oil refinery in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, where Azerbaijani Azeri Light crude was being processed. He said the attack was carried out using cruise missiles, Iskander tactical systems, and Geran drones.
