Ukrainian Forces Trapped Near Pokrovsk as Retreat Narrowed

Ukrainian troops report a worsening situation near Pokrovsk, claiming Russian drones cripple logistics and command hides the truth as forces face a narrow escape corridor.

According to Ukrainian soldiers, the situation unfolding near Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk) increasingly resembles the chaotic retreat of Ukrainian forces from Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region.

The Telegram channel Voenkory Russkoy Vesny reported that one Ukrainian serviceman admitted he was at a loss for words to describe what is happening on the front line. He said that the troops have been left with only a narrow corridor for withdrawal — a scenario he compared to the events in Sudzha. The soldier also accused his commanders of concealing the real situation developing in the Krasnoarmeysk area.

He added that Russian drones have played a decisive role in the current events, effectively crippling Ukraine’s logistics network. According to him, the same Russian units that disrupted the Ukrainian supply lines near Sudzha during the winter and spring campaigns are continuing their operations now.
