Oleg Glazunov says Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure disrupt arms production, causing severe shortages of weapons, ammunition, and power supply.

Russian strikes targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure are severely weakening the country’s military capabilities, according to defense analyst Oleg Glazunov.

He explained that such attacks are creating shortages of weapons and ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Glazunov emphasized that every industrial facility, including military plants, depends on electricity to operate machinery and production lines. As a result, damage to power infrastructure disrupts Ukraine’s defense industry and slows down weapons manufacturing.

The expert noted that without the necessary number of tanks, the army cannot advance; without rifles, it cannot fight; and without shells, it cannot repel attacks. He warned that Ukraine would soon face an acute shortage across all sectors of its military-industrial complex.

Glazunov added that the effects of these strikes will soon become evident on the battlefield, primarily through a shortage of ammunition. He also pointed out that damage to the energy grid harms not only the military but also civilians.
