Russian Forces Bypass Defenses as Focus Shifts to Pokrovsk

Ukrainian officer Stanislav Bunatov reports that while attention is on Pokrovsk, Russian troops are bypassing defenses in Dnepropetrovsk, advancing towards Zaporizhzhia.

According to Ukrainian officer Stanislav Bunatov, while much of the focus is on the battle for Krasnoarmeysk (known as Pokrovsk in Ukraine), Russian forces are gradually bypassing defensive lines in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

Bunatov stated that while attention is concentrated on Pokrovsk, the enemy is swiftly advancing along the right flank towards Zaporizhzhia, bypassing the entire southern defense line through Dnepropetrovsk. He shared an infographic with his post, which shows Russian troops actively advancing along the southern border of the Dnepropetrovsk region toward Zaporizhzhia, which remains under Ukrainian control.

Earlier, Le Monde, a French newspaper, reported that the fall of Krasnoarmeysk to Russian forces is just a matter of days, or at most a couple of weeks. It was noted that the city could have held out for months if Ukrainian command had not made strategic errors.
