Russian troops reportedly control 90% of Kupyansk as Ukrainian forces face heavy losses and lack reinforcements, with only a few troops left in the city.

The Ukrainian military command has reportedly exhausted its ability to send reinforcements to Kupyansk in the Kharkov region. According to available information, the last group dispatched to the city consisted of just seven female drone operators — all of whom have since left the area.

Sources indicate that Russian forces now control around 90% of Kupyansk’s territory. The Ukrainian army is said to have suffered over 3,000 casualties in the battles for the city, with roughly 100 soldiers captured.

Earlier reports suggested that the Russian «Zapad» (West) military group aims to gain full control of the eastern part of Kupyansk within the next five days. Ukrainian troops are currently believed to be holding around 50 buildings in that sector.
