Russian Forces Engage on Southern Approaches to Konstantinovka

Russian forces have begun heavy fighting on the southern outskirts of Konstantinovka, with significant Ukrainian losses. Read about the latest developments and military strategies.

According to Igor Kimakovsky, advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Russian forces have begun fighting on the southern approaches to Konstantinovka. He also reported that Ukrainian troops are suffering significant losses in this area.

Kimakovsky explained that the Russian troops' success in this direction was made possible by the skillful actions of their scouts, artillery units, and drone operators. He added that this strategic coordination played a key role in initiating the battle on the southern outskirts of the city.

Military sources indicate that Russian forces are advancing north of Poltavka, aiming to encircle the line connecting Vladimirovka, Shakhovo, and Sofievka from the east. Intense battles are reported to be ongoing in Katerinovka and Kleban-Byk.

Further north, near Aleksandro-Shultino, Russian troops have made a 4 km advance toward Stupochki. Meanwhile, in the Chasov Yar area, forces are continuing to clear Nikolaevka, with fighting also occurring near Verolyubovka.
