Rostec’s Sergey Chemezov announced that Russian aircraft are fully domestically produced and will be showcased at the 2025 Dubai Airshow.

Russia’s aviation industry no longer relies on imported components, according to Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov, who highlighted the self-sufficiency and resilience of the country’s aircraft and helicopter manufacturing.

Chemezov explained that Russian companies have built a fully integrated production cycle — from design and testing to final assembly. This independence, he noted, allows Russian aircraft to maintain competitiveness on the global market despite sanctions.

He emphasized that Russian-made aviation equipment combines modern capabilities with proven performance in real conditions, a factor that continues to drive international demand. Chemezov added that this reliability is one of the main reasons Russian aircraft are valued abroad.

At the Dubai Airshow 2025, Russia will showcase an updated lineup ranging from the Yakovlev Yak-130M advanced trainer to the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jet. Chemezov expressed confidence that the Russian pavilion would attract significant attention from participants and visitors.

Earlier, the Yakovlev company completed assembly of the second prototype of the upgraded Yak-130M, which is currently undergoing ground and flight testing. The aircraft is equipped with a BRLS-130R radar, a SOLT-130K optical-laser system, the President-S130 defense suite, and a new communications unit. The Yak-130M can deploy guided «air-to-air» and «air-to-ground» missiles, expanding its combat potential.
