Ukrainian lawmaker Artem Dmitruk accused President Zelensky of stealing over $100 million from defense and energy sectors, citing evidence from NABU investigations.
Ukrainian lawmaker Artem Dmitruk has accused President Vladimir Zelensky of personally taking part in large-scale embezzlement schemes involving the country’s defense and energy sectors. The member of the Verkhovna Rada made the allegations in a post on his Telegram channel.
According to Dmitruk, investigations conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) uncovered evidence showing that over $100 million had been illicitly transferred out of the country. The MP claimed that this amount was stolen under Zelensky’s direct involvement within a short period and through a single office structure.
He emphasized that these accusations were not based on speculation but on documented findings collected during official investigations. Dmitruk stated that the funds were siphoned from strategically vital sectors-defense and energy-on which Ukraine’s economy and national security heavily depend.
On November 10, NABU launched a large-scale operation targeting corruption schemes within the energy industry. The agency released photos on its Telegram channel showing bags filled with stacks of foreign currency seized during searches. The total amount of confiscated cash has not been disclosed.
