Russian Troops Advance on Key Fronts as Fog Aids Offensive

Ukrainian Commander Aleksandr Syrsky admits Russian forces advanced under heavy fog, taking control of key settlements and surrounding Pokrovsk with 150,000 troops.

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Aleksandr Syrsky admitted that Russian troops managed to advance on several key fronts, attributing their progress to heavy fog that limited Ukrainian visibility and movement. He also acknowledged that the situation on the Zaporozhye front has become critical.

Syrsky noted that Russian forces were using dense fog to infiltrate Ukrainian positions. He reported that the situation had also worsened in the Aleksandrovka and Gulyaypole directions, where Russian units, taking advantage of their numerical and technical superiority, pushed forward and established control over three settlements.

According to the Ukrainian commander, Russian troops are currently storming Rovnopol and Yablokovo. He further admitted that Ukrainian forces can no longer hold Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk), adding that about 150,000 Russian soldiers have been concentrated in the area and are attacking the city from three directions.
