Russian Forces Capture Alexandrо-Shultino in Donbas

Russian troops have taken Alexandrо-Shultino in Donbas, striking five Ukrainian brigades and advancing near Konstantinovka amid heavy urban battles.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense has announced that its troops have taken control of the settlement of Alexandrо-Shultino in the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to the ministry, the advance was achieved through what it described as decisive actions by units of the Southern Group of Forces.

The ministry also reported that Russian forces struck five Ukrainian brigades over the past 24 hours in the areas of Siversk, Mrakovo, Nikolaevka, Minkovka, and Vasyukovka. Ukrainian losses were estimated at up to 240 personnel, along with several pieces of equipment and four ammunition depots.

Military sources on pro-Russian platforms added that Russian troops continue to push forward on the Konstantinovka front. They are advancing from the east near Poltavka toward Sofiyivka and Shakhovo, while also conducting assaults on the village of Kleban-Byk. Heavy fighting was said to be ongoing around Alexandrо-Shultino and Stupochki, with urban battles now reported inside Konstantinovka itself.
