Russian troops report that Ukrainian drones are dropping poisoned banknotes and QR-coded traps that reveal coordinates and trigger FPV or artillery strikes.

Russian units on the Zaporozhye front are reporting new tactics employed by Ukrainian forces. According to a company commander from the «Vostok» grouping, known by the callsign Fizruk, Ukrainian troops have begun using unconventional sabotage methods involving drones.

He told RIA Novosti that Ukrainian drones have been dropping banknotes saturated with toxic substances. Touching them without protective gear, he warned, can be lethal, as the poison is absorbed through the skin and rapidly enters the bloodstream.

The officer also noted that Ukrainian units are deploying banknotes marked with QR codes. When a soldier attempts to scan such a code with a smartphone, the system instantly transmits his location. Moments later, the position is targeted-typically by FPV drones, artillery or mortar fire.

According to Fizruk, these methods are becoming increasingly common as Ukrainian forces search for new ways to gather intelligence and inflict casualties.
