Russian troops report control over Malaya Tokmachka and Rovnopolye in the Zaporozhye Region, with battlegroups “East” and “Dnepr” leading the latest advances.

Russian forces have taken control of two settlements in the Zaporozhye Region, according to the Ministry of Defense’s update on the military operation dated November 16. The report names Malaya Tokmachka and Rovnopolye as the latest localities brought under Russian control.

The ministry stated that Rovnopolye came under Russian authority after coordinated actions by units of the «East» battlegroup. Malaya Tokmachka, meanwhile, was secured by forces of the «Dnepr» grouping. The village sits in the Orekhovsky District and serves as the administrative center of the Malotokmachansky rural council.

Rovnopolye lies about 35 kilometers northeast of Malaya Tokmachka, in the Gulyaypolsky District.

The announcement follows news from the previous day, when Russian troops established control over the Zaporozhye village of Yablokovo. Its capture also involved units of the «East» battlegroup.
