Russian forces employ new “Kurier” ground robotic systems in the Kupyansk operation, using them for fire support, supply delivery and casualty evacuation.
Russian units advancing in the Kupyansk area have begun fielding new «Kurier» ground robotic systems, a serviceman of the Leningrad Guards Regiment from the «Zapad» grouping told RIA Novosti. The soldier, known by the call sign Tikhiy, said the platform has already been integrated into ongoing operations.
According to him, the «Kurier» is a tracked robotic vehicle designed for a broad set of battlefield tasks. It can be used to provide fire support, transport supplies to frontline positions, and extract wounded personnel from hazardous zones. He noted that the system was engineered specifically with versatility in mind — from moving ammunition and equipment under fire to carrying mounted weapons and engaging targets from both open and concealed firing positions.
Tikhiy added that the platform is capable of supplying troops on forward defensive lines and laying mines against both vehicles and infantry. He emphasized that the system was purpose-built for military use, and crews typically master its operation within a few days thanks to Russian-language software and detailed instructions.
He also underlined that fully domestic production makes it possible to expand manufacturing volumes as needed.
