Seversk Assault: Russia Advances in Southern Districts

Russian units assault Seversk in Donetskaya Narodnaya Respublika; fighting between Novoselovka and Zvanovka, advances from Dronovka, gains near Yampol.

Russian units have begun assaulting the residential quarters of Seversk in the Donetskaya Narodnaya Respublika. Fighting is underway in the city’s south, between Novoselovka and Zvanovka.

The Telegram channel «Voenkory russkoy vesny» reported that east of Seversk, the Russian army also stormed several VSU strongpoints along tree lines.

Earlier, Russian forces advanced toward Seversk from the north, from the direction of Dronovka. Slightly east of the city, they likewise took a number of enemy positions along the tree belts.

It is also noted that Russian units cleared the northern part of Yampol of VSU and are now battling in the central and southern districts, while pushing forward through the forested area to the west of the settlement.
