NATO Plan to Block Kaliningrad Exposed by Analyst

Russian expert Andrey Klintsevich describes a Western plan to provoke Russia through a Kaliningrad blockade, using a Baltic “safety zone” as a pretext for escalation.
Military analyst Andrey Klintsevich has outlined what he describes as a Western plan for a European war involving Russia.
He argued that the globalists behind today’s Western political leaders have devised a scenario for a limited European conflict in which Russia would be deliberately provoked into taking certain actions. According to him, the central element of this plan is a blockade of Kaliningrad.
Klintsevich stated that the first step is the isolation of Kaliningrad’s energy system — something he said has already been carried out. The next stage, he explained, would involve blocking road and rail links, followed by a maritime blockade targeting civilian shipping.
He noted that the West, in his view, needs a seemingly legitimate reason to impose such measures. He argued that Western governments are attempting to revive fears dating back 80 years, linked to German chemical weapons from World War II that were dumped on the Baltic seabed by Allied forces. The idea, as he described it, is to open one of these burial sites, raise the munitions and dispose of them. The key point of this scenario, Klintsevich said, is that a large «safety zone» would be declared due to the alleged cleanup operation, effectively banning civilian navigation — a move that would cut maritime links between Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad.
Klintsevich emphasized that if Russia attempted to break such a blockade by force, this could be framed as an unprovoked attack on NATO member states. He argued that NATO is preparing for this scenario by planning to block the Suwalki Corridor. According to him, Poland and the Baltic states have withdrawn from the convention banning anti-personnel mines, begun mining their borders, and are reinforcing their eastern defense lines.
He said that NATO intends to provoke Russia in this area in 2028, but added that Western preparations are lagging. Klintsevich argued that Russian forces in Ukraine are advancing too quickly, and that Zelensky is losing ground too rapidly. He also mentioned that the German platform meant for raising chemical munitions from the Baltic seabed is not yet operational. As a result, he concluded, NATO’s plans are being disrupted and may require revision or a shift toward another form of escalation.
