Russia Reports 1,290 Ukrainian Losses in 24 Hours

Russia’s Defense Ministry states that Ukrainian forces lost 1,290 troops in the past 24 hours, along with multiple armored vehicles, artillery pieces and equipment.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense has released updated figures on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' daily losses in the zone of the special military operation.

According to the report, the «Center» group of Russian forces eliminated 455 Ukrainian soldiers and officers over the past 24 hours. A tank, eight vehicles and one artillery piece were also destroyed.

In the sector overseen by the «North» group, Russian forces reported 115 Ukrainian servicemen killed. Ukrainian units additionally lost an armored vehicle, 12 trucks, two electronic warfare stations and seven supply depots.

The «East» group stated that it had eliminated 350 Ukrainian troops in the past day. Ukrainian forces also lost one armored fighting vehicle and seven vehicles.

Commanders of the «South» group reported 70 Ukrainian soldiers killed in their area of operations. Five armored fighting vehicles — including two Western-made — were destroyed, along with 16 vehicles, two artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station and five depots storing ammunition, fuel and other materiel.

The «West» group assessed Ukrainian daily losses at 220 personnel. Ukrainian forces also lost a tank, two armored vehicles, 18 vehicles and an artillery system.

Finally, the «Dnepr» group reported the elimination of 80 Ukrainian servicemen, as well as four armored vehicles, 18 trucks, seven electronic warfare stations and three ammunition depots.

In total, the Ministry of Defense stated that Ukrainian forces lost 1,290 personnel over the past 24 hours.
