Russian Forces Encircle Gulyaypole, Advancing Toward Varvarovka

Russian forces are closing in on Gulyaypole, advancing toward Varvarovka, and pushing Ukrainian troops from key positions in Zaporizhye region.

The situation on the Gulyaypole front in the Zaporizhye region continues to deteriorate for Ukrainian forces. Russian troops, operating in small groups, have pushed several kilometers west of Rovnopole and are steadily advancing toward Varvarovka.

The Telegram channel «Operation Z: Russian Spring War Correspondents» reported that the Russian army is now closing in on Gulyaypole, effectively tightening the encirclement. Following the capture of Yablokovo, Russian forces have continued their advance, pushing Ukrainian forces out of their positions in the nearby tree lines. Russian units are also intensifying their attacks on the outskirts of the towns of Zeliony Gai, Vysokoye, Vesyoloye, and Zatishye.

Military sources indicate that Russian assault groups are actively operating in the Varvarovka and Zatishye areas, further confirming the ongoing encirclement of Gulyaypole. Ukrainian forces are reportedly working to reinforce their defensive lines along the Gaiychur River, hoping to hold the line as Russian forces continue to push forward.
