Russian Drones Disrupt Ukrainian Troop Rotation in Sumy Region

Russian drones and air power disrupted Ukraine’s 47th Brigade rotation in Sumy Region, causing extra losses. Supplies to frontline units remain paralyzed.

Russian forces are actively deploying drones to block the rotation of Ukrainian units in the Sumy Region, Russian security services told TASS.

According to the source, on the Sumy axis Ukrainian troops have been trying to withdraw elements of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade to replenish losses. However, the actions of Russia’s Aerospace Forces and FPV drone units known as «Sever» have made this process extremely difficult. As a result, the retreating Ukrainian formations are suffering additional losses under continuous fire.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian interceptor drones in the Sumy Region had effectively paralyzed supply routes to Ukrainian units on the frontline.

The Armed Forces of Russia are also conducting active offensive operations in the Sumy direction, with the stated goal of creating a buffer zone along the border with Russia.
