Russia reports its air defenses intercepted 69 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions, detailing where they were downed and explaining ongoing precision strikes.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that air-defense forces shot down 69 Ukrainian drones overnight across several Russian regions. According to the ministry, all of the intercepted aircraft were fixed-wing UAVs taken down during air-defense patrols on the night of November 22.

The highest number was destroyed over the Rostov region — 16 drones. Another 15 were intercepted over the Samara and Saratov regions, and 13 over Crimea. In addition, air defenses downed three drones over both the Volgograd and Kursk regions, two over the Voronezh region, and one each over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.

The ministry added that Russian forces continue to carry out precision strikes using air-, sea-, and land-based weapons, as well as drones. It emphasized that these strikes are conducted in response to Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure and are directed exclusively at military targets and facilities of Ukraine’s defense industry.
