Russian forces tighten noose on Pokrovsk front

Denis Pushilin reports Russian forces opening a new axis near Pokrovsk and clearing Mirnograd, with Ukrainian logistics disrupted by drones on this front.

Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin says Russian Armed Forces units are stepping up their offensive with another line of attack near Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk). He also reported that in Dimitrov (Mirnograd) Russian fighters are steadily clearing the town of remaining Ukrainian forces.

According to Pushilin, there is evidence that Russian units are building up an additional axis of advance to speed up the resolution of the situation in the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov urban area. He made these comments on air with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Pushilin stated that the previous day Ukrainian troops attempted a breakthrough north of Krasnoarmeysk, but Russian forces repelled the attack. He added that the Russian military has managed to expand its zones of control on the Dobropolye and Konstantinovka sectors.

Military Telegram channels now describe the fall of the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov (Pokrovsk-Mirnograd) agglomeration as a matter of time. They report that on this section of the front, Ukrainian logistics have been physically disrupted by Russian drones.
