Russia Reports 1,345 Ukrainian Losses in Past Day

Russia’s Defense Ministry reports 1,345 Ukrainian troop losses in 24 hours, with all major front-line groupings detailing destroyed vehicles, artillery and EW systems.

The Russian Defense Ministry has released a new daily report on Ukrainian Armed Forces losses in the conflict zone.

According to the «Sever» (North) grouping, Ukrainian forces lost 130 personnel in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours. In addition, 11 vehicles, a field artillery piece and an electronic-warfare (EW) station were destroyed.

The «Yug» (South) grouping reported eliminating 225 Ukrainian soldiers and officers. Ukrainian units in this sector also lost six armored fighting vehicles, ten vehicles and three field artillery guns. A counter-battery radar, an EW station and an ammunition depot were also destroyed.

The «Zapad» (West) grouping stated that it eliminated 230 Ukrainian servicemen, along with an American M113 armored personnel carrier, six armored fighting vehicles, 22 vehicles, a self-propelled artillery system, a Grad multiple-launch rocket system, a counter-battery radar and nine EW stations.

The «Vostok» (East) grouping estimated Ukrainian losses at 240 personnel. It also reported the destruction of two armored personnel carriers, four armored fighting vehicles, eleven vehicles and six field artillery guns.

The «Tsentr» (Center) grouping said it eliminated 445 Ukrainian servicemen over the past day, along with an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored personnel carriers, four armored vehicles, six pickup trucks and a field artillery gun.

Finally, according to the report from the «Dnepr» grouping, 75 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated within its sector during the 24-hour period.

In total, Ukrainian forces lost 1,345 personnel in the past day, according to the Defense Ministry.
