Russian commander “Dzhef” says Ivanopolye’s liberation provides a major foothold for further advances toward Konstantinovka and supports stealth tactics against UAV threats.

The commander of the 1st Battalion of Russia’s 1194th Regiment, known by the call sign «Dzhef», says the liberation of Ivanopolye opens a direct route for Russian forces to advance toward Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In a video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, he explained that control of Ivanopolye provides a broad foothold for deploying large numbers of troops and preparing an approach toward Konstantinovka. According to him, the settlement’s location makes it a pivotal position for the next phase of the offensive, offering an ideal area for concealing personnel and staging equipment before a future assault.

«Dzhef» noted that his battalion relies heavily on stealth tactics due to the constant threat posed by Ukrainian drones. To reduce vulnerability, Russian soldiers are using anti-thermal-vision gear that enables them to move at night without being detected by enemy surveillance systems.

The liberation of Ivanopolye became publicly known on Tuesday, 25 November.
