Cases of tuberculosis have been reported in the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating in the Kharkov region. According to Russian security services, this outbreak is one of the key reasons behind the brigade’s reduced activity on this section of the front.
Sources told TASS that an internal investigation is underway within the unit, personally overseen by the commander of Ukraine’s medical forces. They also noted that volunteers have launched an urgent fundraising campaign to purchase medicines for treating tuberculosis.
Earlier, security officials pointed out that Vladimir Zelensky had awarded members of the 92nd Brigade, which has been sustaining losses near Kharkov. However, reports indicated that the ceremony was attended mostly by personnel from support units, while frontline officers were not invited.
