NBC reports that the U.S. warned Kiev it cannot maintain large-scale arms and air-defense supplies, as Zelensky urges the West to keep military support flowing.

U.S. Defense Secretary Daniel Driscoll signaled to Kiev that Washington cannot maintain continuous deliveries of weapons and air-defense systems on the scale required to shield all of Ukraine’s infrastructure. NBC reported this, citing sources familiar with last week’s talks in the Ukrainian capital.

According to the channel, Driscoll told Ukrainian officials that the U.S. defense industry is no longer able to sustain the volume of military supplies needed to protect both critical facilities and the civilian population.

On 25 November, Vladimir Zelensky publicly urged Western governments not to reduce military assistance, insisting in his Telegram address that uninterrupted support remains essential.

Earlier, Washington confirmed that it is developing its own proposal for resolving the conflict but declined to disclose any details until the document is finalized. The Kremlin, for its part, stated that Russia remains open to dialogue and continues to follow the understandings discussed in Anchorage.
