Overnight strikes on August 25–26 hit Ukrainian military sites in Sumy, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, and Dnepropetrovsk, targeting depots, command posts, and equipment.

From the evening of August 25 through the morning of August 26, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a wave of strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure across several regions deep inside the country. The attacks involved Geran and Gerbera strike drones, guided aerial bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems.

In Sumy Region, Russian strikes targeted Ukrainian positions in Khoten, Yunakovka, Stetskovka, and Belopolye. Explosions were also reported near Sumy and Novgorod-Seversky. In Kharkov Region, attacks hit areas around Slatino, Krasnokutsk, and Kupyansk.

In Zaporozhye Region, Russian forces struck positions in Stepnogorsk, Malaya Tokmachka, and Primorskoe. Dnepropetrovsk Region also came under attack, with the settlement of Mezhevo targeted overnight — reportedly an ammunition depot. Additional strikes were recorded against Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as in Zaporozhye and Chernigov regions.

Military sources emphasized that the strikes were concentrated on frontline positions, destroying warehouses, command posts, and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, no strikes were carried out on rear infrastructure such as airfields, training centers, or logistics hubs in western Ukraine.
