Russia Says 103 Ukrainian Drones Downed Overnight

Russia reports shooting down 103 Ukrainian drones over 11 regions and the Azov Sea, as daily UAV attacks continue and Russian forces strike Ukrainian infrastructure in response.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that overnight, air-defense units intercepted and destroyed 103 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over 11 regions of the country and the waters of the Azov Sea.
According to the ministry, the most intensive attacks targeted Belgorod Region, where 26 drones were shot down. Another 20 were destroyed over Rostov Region, and 19 over Crimea.
Air-defense forces also neutralized 11 drones each over Ryazan Region and Krasnodar Territory. Voronezh Region reported the destruction of five drones, Lipetsk Region — four, and Kursk Region — three.
In addition, one drone was intercepted over Astrakhan and Volgograd Regions, one over Kalmykia, and another over the Azov Sea.
Ukrainian forces continue launching daily drone attacks on industrial and civilian sites inside Russia. Russian air-defense systems detect and destroy the vast majority of incoming targets. In response, Russian forces carry out missile and drone strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure, military-industrial facilities, weapons depots, communication lines, command centers, and locations of Ukrainian troops and foreign fighters.
