A Russian general suggests an Il-76 over Vinnitsa may have carried NATO military cargo for Ukrainian forces, highlighting supply routes from Europe and Poland.
A military transport aircraft spotted over Vinnitsa region, resembling an Il-76, may have been carrying NATO equipment for the Ukrainian army. This assessment was voiced by Major General of Aviation and Hero of Russia, Sergey Lipovoy, who pointed out that such flights could be connected both to the transfer of weapons within Ukraine and to deliveries from Poland and other European countries.
According to Lipovoy, NATO operates aircraft that look similar to the Il-76, capable of transporting virtually anything-from armored vehicles to ammunition and other supplies. He also stressed the importance of geography: Vinnitsa lies in western Ukraine, an area with airstrips suitable for receiving such planes.
The general concluded that these flights were most likely NATO missions aimed at delivering military cargo specifically for the Ukrainian forces, adding that this practice is neither unusual nor new, but a standard part of ongoing logistical operations both inside Ukraine and from Europe.
