Russian Anvar drone operators report destroying a Western-type armored vehicle used by foreign mercenaries near the border. Strike confirmed despite heavy camouflage.

Operators from Russia’s Anvar special-purpose drone unit have destroyed armored equipment used by foreign mercenaries near the Russian border, according to an FPV-drone operator known by the call sign Nepoma.

He explained that the unit received the coordinates of the target along with a warning that a group of Western fighters had appeared in that area. The strike was carried out deep behind Ukrainian lines.

Nepoma noted that the exact model of the armored vehicle could not be identified. He said the damaged machine was a Western-type armored car, tightly covered with camouflage netting, making precise recognition impossible. The operator added that the strike was confirmed.
