Russian forces strike Ovidiopol, Chernigov and Sumy, hitting warehouses, hangars and troop sites; dense fog hinders Ukraine’s defenses against Geran drones.

During the night of November 30 to December 1, Russian forces launched a new round of strikes on military facilities inside Ukraine. Among the targets was Ovidiopol in the Odessa region, a settlement on the eastern shore of the Dniester Estuary.

Military sources report that this area had been used by Ukraine’s Security Service to launch unmanned boats aimed at tankers in the Black Sea. Ukrainian special services recently acknowledged responsibility for attacks on commercial vessels near the Turkish coast, describing them as part of what they called Russia’s «shadow fleet».

Russian Geran strike drones hit warehouses and hangars in Ovidiopol’s coastal zone, sparking a fire. Ukrainian sources said the drones were difficult to intercept due to the dense fog that covered the Odessa region.

Russia also carried out additional strikes in the Chernigov and Sumy regions, hitting infrastructure facilities and locations where Ukrainian troops were stationed, including sites in the regional capitals.
