Russia Downs 45 Ukrainian Drones in Overnight Attack

Russia’s Defense Ministry reports 45 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Krasnodar and Crimea.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 45 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones during an overnight attack, with the barrage dispersed across several regions.

According to the ministry, the heaviest activity occurred over Bryansk Region, where air-defense units brought down 14 drones. Another eight UAVs were intercepted over Krasnodar Krai.

In the skies above Crimea, Russian forces neutralized six drones, while Volgograd Region saw five aircraft-type UAVs destroyed.

Air-defense crews in the Chechen Republic downed four drones, and Rostov Region reported the interception of two more. Individual targets were also eliminated over Oryol, Lipetsk, and Tver Regions.

Additionally, Russian forces shot down three drones over the Black Sea, completing what the ministry described as a fully repelled overnight assault.
