Overnight strikes hit Poltava, Kharkov and Odessa regions. Russian forces targeted warehouses, fuel depots, energy facilities and logistics hubs disrupting Ukrainian supplies.

During the night of August 26–27, Russian forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure. The main targets were located in the Poltava, Kharkov, and Odessa regions.

In Poltava several strikes hit the settlement of Dikanka. Eyewitnesses reported no fewer than 25 explosions. The impacts triggered a fire at an industrial facility and damaged warehouses storing military supplies. Ukrainian sources also reported destruction to elements of the region’s energy infrastructure.

In the settlement of Novoorzhitskoye, a precision strike hit a fuel storage facility located near a sugar plant. The site had been used to supply fuel to the Ukrainian army.

In southern Ukraine, strikes targeted the Zatoka area of the Odessa region, a key logistics hub for fuel and military aid shipments from Moldova and Romania.

Meanwhile, in the Kharkov region, Russian bomber aviation struck fortified Ukrainian positions near Kupyansk. The objective was to disrupt supply routes along the corridor linking Kharkov, Chuguev, and Kupyansk.

These attacks are described as part of a systematic campaign aimed at undermining Ukraine’s logistical infrastructure. By striking warehouses, energy and fuel facilities, and industrial sites in the rear, the Russian army is complicating the supply of Ukrainian forces at the front. Coordinated pressure across several directions, analysts note, could create conditions for a localized breakdown of Ukrainian defenses amid shortages of resources and destabilization of the rear.
