Russian strikes hit energy and transport infrastructure, drone assembly sites and military positions from Yuzhny port to Pavlograd and Sumy, according to official reports.
Russian forces on 3 December carried out another round of strikes on energy and transport facilities supporting Ukraine’s military-industrial base, according to the latest operational report from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The ministry states that the attacks were conducted with a mix of aircraft, drones, missiles and artillery, and that all designated targets were successfully hit. Among the damaged sites were transport and energy infrastructure, a workshop assembling long-range strike drones, as well as temporary locations used by Ukrainian troops and foreign fighters.
Military sources report that Russia launched a large-scale strike on maritime infrastructure near the Yuzhny port close to Odessa. Additional hits were reported on Ukrainian military and mercenary positions in the village of Belyary on the shore of the Adzhalyksky estuary. This area is described as one of the possible sites where Ukraine keeps unmanned boats involved in recent attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea.
The strikes continued through the night of 2–3 December, when Geran drones, Iskander tactical missiles and aerial bombs targeted military facilities in Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Vasilkovka, Krivoy Rog and Sumy.
