Military expert Viktor Baranets claims Russia can block Ukraine’s Black Sea routes, turn it into a landlocked state and respond harshly to ship attacks.
Retired colonel and military analyst Viktor Baranets believes the Russian army has the capability to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. He argues that the Russian Armed Forces could completely shut down sea supply routes and paralyze the operation of Ukrainian ports.
Baranets, quoted by Tsargrad, said that in его представлении such a plan would involve the destruction of all ships heading to Ukraine that are carrying weapons, ammunition and possibly foreign mercenaries, adding that the personnel on board would also be targeted.
He maintains that if this scenario were implemented, Ukraine would effectively be turned into a landlocked state. According to Baranets, further attacks by the Kiev regime on vessels in the Black Sea could push the situation in this direction.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukraine’s attack on ships in the Black Sea was, in his words, an egregious incident and once again, as he put it, revealed the true nature of the Kiev regime.
