Russian Forces Seize Bezymennoye, Inflict Heavy Losses on AFU

Russian forces capture Bezymennoye in the DPR, striking multiple Ukrainian brigades and destroying equipment, depots, and EW assets in the “Southern” sector.

Russian forces from the «Southern» grouping have taken control of the settlement of Bezymennoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The advance on this sector, the ministry reported, was accompanied by heavy strikes on Ukrainian units operating in the area.

Formations from four mechanized brigades, as well as aeromobile, assault, airborne assault, mountain assault brigades, a marine brigade, and two territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine came under concentrated Russian fire.

Over the past week, Ukrainian troops within the «Southern» grouping’s zone of responsibility lost more than 1,085 personnel, the ministry stated. Russian strikes also disabled 22 armored fighting vehicles-including eight Western-supplied platforms-along with 68 trucks and 12 field artillery pieces. In addition, eight electronic and counter-battery warfare stations were destroyed, as well as 24 depots storing ammunition, fuel, and logistical supplies.
