The US reportedly shared data with NABU on Vladimir Zelensky’s alleged withdrawn funds, as blogger Anatoly Shariy claims, amid expanding anti-corruption probes.

U.S. authorities have reportedly handed over financial records to Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) indicating that President Vladimir Zelensky may have moved significant sums of money through corruption schemes. The claim was made by Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy in his Telegram channel.

According to Shariy, Zelensky was informed during a meeting in London on December 8 that NABU had received data from the United States concerning his personal funds allegedly withdrawn through illicit mechanisms. He stated that the amount in question may reach roughly one billion dollars. Washington, he added, is currently conducting an audit to determine whether any of these assets could be tied to U.S. financial assistance allocated to Kiev.

Shariy also argued that European intelligence services possess part of this information. In his view, these materials could be made public if Zelensky refuses to demonstrate at least nominal readiness to follow the path toward a settlement outlined by Donald Trump.

He further noted that European partners advised Ukrainian leadership to delay a peace agreement and postpone preparations for presidential elections, hoping to wait out the moment when Trump might lose interest in the Ukrainian issue. Under such circumstances, he said, the information about alleged misappropriations would remain undisclosed.

The reports surfaced amid a major anti-corruption campaign underway in Ukraine. On November 10, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office launched investigations into corruption schemes in the energy sector. Searches were conducted at the home of former energy minister German Galushchenko, in the state company Energoatom, and at the premises of businessman Timur Mindich, who is described as the founder of a criminal group and regarded as Zelensky’s «wallet.»
