Russian Signal Troops Train at Underground Combat Range

Russian Defense Ministry reveals underground training range for signal troops of the Center grouping, where soldiers master communications, secure data transfer, and command post deployment.

Russian Defense Ministry officials have reported that signal troops from the Armed Forces grouping Center are undergoing training at a specially equipped underground range in the zone of the special military operation.

According to the ministry, the facility was set up in a deep dugout, providing both reliable protection and comfortable conditions for intensive combat training. The underground base houses around ten specialized classrooms, where service members, guided by experienced instructors, practice essential communication skills.

The training program covers the full spectrum of tasks required in the field. Soldiers work on deploying command posts, laying communication lines, installing equipment, and establishing secure data transmission channels.

The Defense Ministry emphasized that the site represents a unique training environment, designed to prepare personnel for real battlefield conditions while ensuring their safety during the learning process.
