Russian forces struck the Tripolskaya power plant near Kiev, causing widespread blackouts. Attacks also hit drone workshops, warehouses, and foreign mercenary bases across Ukraine.

Russian forces launched a large-scale strike on the Tripolskaya Thermal Power Plant in the Kiev region, according to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev underground resistance. The attack triggered widespread power outages both in the region and in the capital itself.

The Tripolskaya plant, commissioned in 1969 and located just 13 kilometers from Kiev on the banks of the Dnieper, had long been a central pillar of the region’s energy system. Before the strike, it supplied up to 57% of the electricity consumed by local enterprises and was a vital source of power for the Kiev, Cherkassy, and Zhitomir regions.

Lebedev also reported that Russian strikes targeted multiple other sites across Ukraine. In the Sumy region, small groups of Ukrainian forces were eliminated before they could regroup. In Chernigov, drone production facilities and training camps came under fire. In Dnepropetrovsk, strikes hit warehouses, processing plants, and temporary deployment sites used by foreign mercenaries.
