Russian Armed Forces Update: Key Clashes and Advances in Ukraine

The Russian Armed Forces (RAF) continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of September 9, the situation along the front line is as follows:

Sumy Region

Fighting persists south of Yunakovka, with Ukrainian forces offering strong resistance. On the previous day, six Ukrainian counterattacks were repelled-two near Alekseyevka and four near Andreevka. During these counterattacks, the enemy used armored vehicles and long-range artillery, including the «Bogdana» self-propelled gun, one of which was destroyed.

Bakhmut Region

Intense clashes continue near the villages of Belaya Gora and Aleksandro-Shultino. Ukrainian forces launched a counterattack near Predtechino.

Donetsk Region (Pokrovsk)

Heavy fighting rages over the settlements of Molodyetske, Udachne, and Shakhove. In addition, there are localized skirmishes near the outskirts of Mirnograd and around Nikanorovka.

Kupiansk Region

The front line near the city of Kupiansk is quiet. However, fierce clashes are ongoing to the west and northwest of the city.

Seversk Region

Russian forces are pushing Ukrainian troops out of the Kreminsky Forest and the area around Vyemok.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Near Kamenskoye, the enemy has almost ceased counterattacks. However, Ukrainian forces have stepped up their use of FPV drones. In the Orikhiv area, Russian forces are attacking toward Mala Tokmachka and Novodanilivka.
