Russian forces expanded control in Kremennaya Forest and Kirovsk, seizing key areas along the Seversky Donets and near Yampol. Ukrainian units reinforce defenses.

Russian units have strengthened their grip on the frontlines in Donbass, making steady advances in several key sectors.

According to military expert Andrey Marochko, Russian troops established fire control over a stretch of roughly three kilometers along the administrative border of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The controlled area runs parallel to the Seversky Donets River within the Kremennaya Forest zone.

In response to this progress, Ukrainian forces are reinforcing their positions in the settlement of Dronovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, where they are building new fortifications and laying minefields on tank-accessible routes.

Fighting is also intensifying in Kirovsk (also known as Zarechnoye) in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Over the past few days, Russian units have seized around 70 percent of the settlement’s territory. At the same time, they expanded control south of Torskoye, advancing along the Zherebets River toward Yampol in the Lugansk People’s Republic and linking up with other formations operating southwest of Chervonaya Dibrova.

Despite these setbacks, Ukrainian units are attempting to hold on to the western outskirts of Kirovsk and recover positions previously lost in heavy clashes.
