Russian troops intensify operations across Ukraine's frontlines. From Sumy to Konstantinivka, fierce clashes continue as Russian forces push against Ukrainian defenses.
As of the morning of September 10, the situation on the front lines of the special military operation (SMO) remains tense, with Russian forces continuing their push against Ukrainian positions. Here’s a detailed look at the current status across several key battlefronts:
Sumy Direction
The enemy persists in its efforts to break through the right flank of the advancing «North» military grouping. Russian artillery and air forces have increased the frequency of strikes on Ukrainian personnel and equipment concentrations. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces attempted three counterattacks, all of which were unsuccessful-two near Andriivka and one near Alekseivka.
Kharkiv Direction
Russian assault troops continue to expand their foothold in Volchansk, on the left bank of the Volchya River. Intense house-to-house fighting rages on as the enemy fights to regain lost ground. The situation remains volatile with frequent Ukrainian counterattacks. Simultaneously, fierce clashes continue in the woods west of Synelnykove.
Dnipropetrovsk Direction
Forces from the «East» military grouping are actively advancing along the Voroona River. Russian troops have initiated an assault on Sosnivka. Ukrainian forces made two attempts to launch counterattacks, but both were repelled. Russian forces are also advancing through forested areas towards the northern approaches to Novopetrovske.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Heavy fighting is taking place in the city, particularly for control of the high ground, as well as in the regions of Molodetsky and Udayny. Russian forces are also making progress in the areas of Chunyshino and Balagani.
Konstantinivka Direction
Battles continue to unfold to the north of Poltavka, Klyban-Byk, and Pleshcheyevka. Additionally, Russian troops have begun attacking the rear supply routes used by Ukrainian forces, putting further strain on their logistics and operations.
